Our Team
Our team has been serving the Foley area for a combined 161 years. That averages out to more than 17 years per team member! It is a privilege to be able to serve you. Our doctors, assistants, hygienists, and office administrative staff are highly trained and are dedicated to helping you achieve the best dental care possible. We have many years of experience in treating the kinds of oral conditions that you are likely to bring into our office. Our mission is to not only treat you, but to educate you so that you can make the best decisions possible about treatment options. We want you to be confident in the choices you make about your dental care.
Meet Our Team
Steven O’Brien DDS

Dr. Steven grew up on the iron range in northern Minnesota near the boundary waters. His undergraduate studies moved him to St. Paul where he completed his biology degree at the University of St. Thomas. His dental training was completed at the University of Minnesota; graduating in 1983. Following a brief associateship in Wisconsin, he moved to Foley in 1984. In 1997, he moved to his present location on Dewey Street.
Dr. Steve’s practice philosophy has always been to meet the needs of his patients. Providing the best dental care that he can give is his number one priority. Having been raised in a small town, he understands that many of his patients want most of their dental needs taken care of close to home. To that end, continuing education had been an important component of his professional development. He is a member of the St. Cloud Study Club as well as a member of the Minnesota Dental Association and American Dental Association.
When not at the office, Dr. Steve’s interests are family and golf. He is a proud grandfather of 7. Spending time with his children and grandchildren are a great source of joy.
Stephanie Driessen DDS

Dr. Stephanie was born and raised in Foley. She attended the University of Saint Thomas and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Minor in Psychology. She went on to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where she graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She joined the practice upon graduation from dental school and is excited to be working with the community in which she was raised. She and her family currently live in Foley.
Sarah Office Manager

Sarah started her dental career getting her Dental Assisting degree from Central Lakes College in Brainerd after she became more interested in dental work after working the front desk at a local Oral Surgeons office.
She had time away from the dental field to raise their children. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and cross-stitching.
Jackie RDH

My name is Jackie. I live in Princeton with my husband, 2 kids, 3 dogs, and a cat. I started my education at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. I finished at St. Cloud Technical College with an AAS Degree in Dental Hygiene. I began my career temping at various offices before joining the team at Dewey Street Dental in January 2011. I enjoy working with the Foley community and helping with all of their dental needs. While I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening, biking, and watching the Twins and Vikings.
Kim RDH

Hi, I’m Kim! I’ve been working here as a dental hygienist since 2010. Before that, I was that patient who Dr. O’Brien always told to floss more. After graduating from Foley in 2002, I went on to the University of MN to get my bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 2006. I then earned my master’s in dental hygiene from UT Health San Antonio in 2018. When I’m not improving the gateway to your overall health, you can find me at home, in Sartell, with my family and our dog. I enjoy tennis, golf, watching movies, virtual scrapbooking, being outside with the kids, answering ‘why’ for the millionth time, and trying to get our yorkie to stop barking!

My name is Nicole. I live in the Foley area with my husband. We have 3 children and one dog. I am a Foley High School graduate. After high school, I traveled for a year in a group called “Up with People.” After my travels, I went to school and earned my Dental Assisting diploma at St. Cloud Technical Community College. I worked for 5 years in the St. Cloud area as a dental assistant. I then went on to further my education. I enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at the St. Cloud Technical Community College, where I received an AAS in Dental Hygiene. I joined Dr. O’Brien’s dental practice in October of 1997. I have enjoyed working with the Foley community and assisting in their dental health needs. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, 4-wheeling, playing guitar, and singing. I also enjoy playing the piano and scrapbooking.

Hi, my name is Lisa. I received my education at NDSCS in Wapheton, ND, graduating with a diploma in dental assisting and continuing on for an associate of science degree in dental hygiene.
I live in Rice with my husband and 2 sons. When I am not working, I enjoy camping with my family, reading, and rubber stamping with friends.
I have been blessed to work for O’Brien dental for just over 30 years. I love working in Foley because of the wonderful people and it reminds me of my home town of Barnesville.

My Name is Sarah. I live in Foreston with my husband, kids, and all of our animals (dogs, cows, chickens, and goats). I graduated from Tech High School in 2006. I later attended St. Cloud Technical and Community College to pursue my AAS degree in the Dental Assisting field. I graduated from the Tech College in 2012. Before coming to Dr. O’Brien’s office, I worked at a general dentist office in Big Lake for a couple of years. I was fortunate enough to join the team here at Dr. O’Brien’s in March 2015 as a Licensed Dental Assistant. I very much enjoy working in a small community and having the opportunity to get to know our patients on a more personal level. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, doing just about anything outdoors. I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, reading, and taking care of all our animals/pets at home.
Amanda CLDA

My name is Amanda. I live in rural Sauk Rapids on a hobby farm with my husband and two kids. I am a former Foley High School graduate. I received my AAS Degree in dental assisting from St. Cloud Technical College. I began my career as a dental assistant right out of college, when I joined the team at Dewey Street Dental in 2006. I enjoy being able to work where I grew up and help our patients with their dental needs. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, horseback riding, camping, reading, traveling, and working together with my husband on our hobby farm.
